Summary[]
A young man takes his girlfriend for a date night in the city, but when her vanity consumes her, she becomes absorbed by the mirror.
Plot[]
The episode opens with a reveal of a hotel room's latest occupants, a young couple Sandra and Jared. Jared remarks that he told Sandra he would rent them the room with the best view in the city, but Sandra isn't paying attention to him, as she is absorbed by her phone. As an exasperated Jared goes to take a shower, Sandra takes a selfie of herself on the balcony and posts it to her Snapchat. She goes inside the room to unpack her things, and she sees a shadow behind a divider. She pushes back the divider, only to find that there's a mannequin bust behind it. As a joke, Sandra takes another selfie with the bust and posts it to her Snapchat with a caption that reads "THREESOME???".
As Sandra unpacks her bag, she sees an ornate vanity nearby. Sandra goes to the vanity and begins to apply her makeup, but she becomes alarmed when her reflection begins to scar and distort. As Sandra reaches towards the mirror, an arm suddenly protrudes from the mirror and pulls her through it.
Sandra wakes up in a strange black landscape, lying on top of a pile of mannequins. She screams and gets up, wiping blood off of her face and arm, and tries to walk around. As she moves forward, she realizes that she's trapped inside the mirror, while whatever pulled her inside was back in the hotel room. Sandra moves towards the mirror and sees a woman who looks vaguely like herself hunched over at the vanity, examining at Sandra's lipstick. When Sandra asked for the creature's name, the creature looks up at her, revealing a scarred face with milky white eyes. Sarah then hears a hoarse whisper echoes throughout the mirror realm: "Mira...".
Just then, Jared called out for Sandra and began coming down the stairs. The creature covers herself with a blanket. Sandra pleads for Mira to not hurt Jared, and the creature responds by silently putting a finger to her lips, motioning for Sandra to be quiet.
When Jared enters the room and tries to turn "Sandra" around, Mira suddenly stands and turns to Jared, grabbing him and pulling him to her. Her face then splits open into her horrific true form, and she sinks her countless teeth into Jared's neck as a hysterical Sandra watches helplessly from the other side of the mirror. Mira then turned back to the mirror for a brief moment before walking away, leaving Sandra trapped inside the mirror realm along. As Sandra watches the other side of the mirror, the mannequins on the floor begin to stand up, and one with blood dripping from its mouth begins to advance on Sandra as the screen cuts to black.[1]
